Dhoom 2

So because Bollywood trailers are the best (and besides - I must keep promoting Bollywood on this blog ;-P), here's the latest high tech offering from India. No Shahrukh in this one, but hey, Bollywood can be fun even without him (shocking, but true ;) ).
The biggest selling points of the film (and the first box office results in India seem to indicate that they have worked well) are Hrithik, Abishek, Aishwarya, dazzling action scenes (most of which Hrithik did himself after extensive training) and a shocking kissing controversy (Aishwarya is Abishek's girlfriend, but she has a kissing scene with Hrithik in this film).

Below are three trailers for Dhoom 2:

As usual *sniff sniff* because I doubt this is going to be released in Poland.

No, I've not seen the first Dhoom (and don't have it).
But judging by trailers I think Dhoom 2 looks like a lot more fun :) See the trailer for the first Dhoom here.
The first Dhoom stars John Abraham as the "villain" rather than Hrithik Roshan. There's already plans to make Dhoom 3 if Dhoom 2 will be a success (and it looks like it will) and there's been rumours that Shahrukh might be the villain in three (although nothing is confirmed yet).

Unfortunately Poland seems to be getting Bollywood releases way after they were originally released, so it's very hard to figure out what they might release and what not. Out of the recent blockbusters all we know for sure is that KANK will be released and that Karan Johar (after coming to Warsaw to judge Miss World) got very excited about the Polish market for Bollywood and wants to push the release forward (probably first half of 2007 which is still almost a year after it was originally released in India, the UK and the US). The other likely recent blockbuster to be released here is Fanaa (largely because it was shot in Poland), but again we're probably in for a long wait.
